How To Flash Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus TB-8703n TB-8703x

  1. Launch QFIL
  2. Connect the device to the PC while in EDL Mode (device should be in EDL before connecting to pc). No Port Available should change to Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 
  3. Under Select Build Type, tick Flat Build
  4. Under Select Programmer, click Browse
  5. In the Window that pops up, highlight the loader file (usually named prog_emmc_firehose_****.mbn) and click Open
  6. Click Load XML
  7. In the Window that pops up, highlight the rawprogram() file then click Open
  8. Another Window will automatically pop up, highlight the patch() file then click Open
  9. Click Download
  10. QFIL should start flashing the firmware, Do Not interrupt
  11. You should get Download Succeed Finish Download once QFIL has successfully flashed the firmware. Disconnect the device and boot up

  1. Open the Research download tool > bin folder
  2. Launch ResearchDownload.exe
Click on the Load Packet icon (top left corner)
In the window that pops up, navigate to the location of the .pac file, select it then click Open
The pac file should now be loaded (its name should appear at the top)
Click the Settings Icon (top left corner)
In the box that pops up, untick any item(s) you do not wish to flash then click OK. Ignore this step if you wish to flash all files
Click the Start downloading button
You should see Waiting.... under the Progress bar

Switch off the phone (still with battery inside) then connect it to the PC via USB cord (note that you might need to hold the volume decease button while connecting to PC on some phones) and flashing should begin. DO NOT interrupt 
Once flashing is complete, you'll see Passed
Click on the Stop downloading icon then disconnect the phone from PC and boot
