What is System/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Full Explained Details Notes

What is sdlc - What is System Development Life Cycle - sdlc - sdlc definition & explanation - sdlc & its importance...

What is System/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

SDLC:

The system development life cycle (SDLC) could be a best abstract model that is employed in project management that describes the stages concerned in associate data system development project from associate initial feasibility study by maintenance of the completed application.

System Development Life Cycle and its Importance:

System development life cycle (SDLC) is a step wise process of creating computer systems. It is also known as information system development or application development project system. It is a conceptual model which represents the necessary steps used for the process of creating a new software system.
The SDLC is a problem-solving process through which a series of steps helps to produce a new computer information system. Entire steps conducted in a sequence should provide the answers of a problem or opportunity. This step-wise procedure is for to build a system has a lot of importance facilities.

What is System/Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Importance of SDLC:

The following points summarize the importance of the use of SDLC:
  1. SDLC is an important cycle because it breaks down the entire life cycle of software development to phases thus making it easier for the development team members to easily evaluate every part of software development.
  2. SDLC makes it easier to programmers to work concurrently on every phase.
  3. It provides a rough time estimate that when the system(software) will be available for use.
  4. Its deliver quality system(software) which meet or exceed customer expectations.
  5. It provides the basic framework to the development of a quality software
  6. SDLC helps the project managers to establish a project management structure to be followed strictly during the system development.
  7. SDLC clearly defines and assigns the roles and responsibilities of all the involved parties.
  8. It ensures that the requirements for the development of the software are well defined and subsequently satisfied.

What is Stakeholders and Objectives of SDLC - sdlc Stakeholders & objectives

What is Stakeholders - sdlc - Stakeholders and Objectives of SDLC - software development life cycle Stakeholders & objectives details...

Stakeholders and Objectives of SDLC

What is Stakeholders and Objectives of SDLC

Objectives of (SDLC):

The objectives of the system development life cycle (SDLC) are as follows:
  1. Delivery of quality system that meets with every customer every expectation.
  2. Delivery of the inexpensive and cost effective software which are easily maintainable.
  3. Maximize productivity in terms of the system delivered.
  4. One of the major objectives of SDLC is to establish an appropriate level of management authority to direct, coordinate control, review and approved the software development project.
  5. (SDLC) should ensure their project management accountability.
  6. Ensuring that projects are development within the current and planned Information Technology infrastructure.
  7. (SDLC) should identify the potential project risks in advance so that proper planning should be done.

Stakeholders of (SDLC):

Those entities which are either within the organization or outside of the organization that sponsor a project, have an interest or have the intention to give it after its successful completion, may have a positive or negative influence in the project completion are called Stakeholders.

What is Stakeholders and Objectives of SDLC

Project Stakeholders include the customers, the project manager, the development team and the testers. All those who have some interest in the project can be considered as Stakeholders update project.

The individuals as well as the organizations that are actively involved in the project, our house interest may be affected as a result of project execution our project completion are the part of stakeholders. It is the duty of the project management team to identify the Stakeholders, determine the requirements, expectations and manage their influence in relation to the requirements to ensure a successful project.

Role of Stakeholders:

The basic rules of the Stakeholders are:

  1. A system resources such as time, money, equipment ware needed with provided to the project team by the stakeholders.
  2. Stakeholders educate the developers about their business.
  3. They spend more time to provide the information and clarify requirements to the analysts and developers.
  4. Make timely decisions.
  5. Respect a developer assessment of cost and feasibility.
  6. Set requirements priorities. Review and provide timely feedback.
  7. Promptly communicate changes to requirements.
